Japanese Emperor

"Dear IOGKF Family,

I spoke to Higaonna Sensei last night and he told me that Japanes Emperor is visiting Okinawa end of this month, and Okinawa government asked two masters to demonstrate kata for the emperor, Higaonna Sensei (Goju-Ryu) and Masahiro Nakamoto Sensei (Kobudo).  This is a great Honour for all of us as a students of Higaonna Sensei, and I just wanted to share with you.  Higaonna Sensei told me that he is planning to perform Suparimpei.  

Japanese Emperor is retiring next year, and he wishes to visit Okinawa before his retirement.  

This year’s chief instructor gasshuku is October 10-13, I wish to see you there.
